am off to tokyo next week for the first time! am soooo excited for many reasons. first, it is NOT south east asia and i am NOT scared to go outside after six pm. second, i have heard how wonderful tokyo is time and time again so no explanation needed. i am looking at it as a bit of a free trip but sadly my work trip is being crammed by...umm...work. i have back to back meetings in a city where i have been told it is very hard to get around in. and then, i know a few people who are going to take me out for an authentic tokyo experience so thats just fabu!
and then the 26-28 january is chinese new year so we have five consecutive days off which is just fabu as WELL. i am trying to convince the aussie to go away somewhere beach-like but he may have to go back to oz and do aussie things. i dont really know what that entails but i am guessing it has got to have something to do with kangaroos...
