not much to report other than i am terribly homesick. spending time back in manhattan, i am reminded of everything i love and then i return to hong kong and i am reminded of how it is not even close to manhattan. i really did not want to get on that plane from newark and have been at the brink of tears ever since.
and my homesickness is compounded by the fact that i HATE my job. i became bored with my job ages ago but i stuck because i loved the people. now that those wonderful people have been replaced by non-wonderful (i am being nice) people, then one needs to ask oneself - "what am i doing here?" and yes, i've asked myself many times.
